Lunar Regolith Simulant
Product information
Lunar soil, in your own hands. A professional mare-basalt lunar regolith simulant — the same material space agencies and research centers use to run experiments on Earth under near-real conditions.
It's the direct heir of NASA's JSC-1A, produced from the same Merriam Crater basalt source and characterized for the mineralogy, chemistry and grain size of lunar mare regolith. It's used to study mobility, excavation and mechanical interaction with the Moon's soil.
For the first time, the same material found in the labs reaches your hands.
- Mare-basalt lunar regolith simulant (JSC-1A lineage, NASA)
- Same source as JSC-1A; documented mineralogy, chemistry and grain size
- Used in aerospace research for mobility and excavation testing
